| Rank | Lance Corporal |
|---|---|
| Service number | MC#7354503 |
| Patrol | R Patrol |
| Regiment | Royal Army Medical Corps |
| Role | Medical Orderly |
| Known as | “Mick” |
| Died | 1951-05-10 |
Data note (2026): the “MC” in his particulars denotes the (Royal Army) Medical Corps — he served as an R Patrol medical orderly — NOT the Military Cross; no Military Cross is recorded for him, and none was found in The London Gazette. He carries his own Medical Corps service number, 7354503. The “NZ #1055” shown against him is also recorded for Tpr Dudley John Adams (R Patrol) and is probably a transcription duplicate; this could not be confirmed because the Auckland Online Cenotaph blocks automated access — a manual Cenotaph check is recommended to settle which man holds 1055.

Army-number correction: the number NZ 1055 previously linked to this man belongs to a different soldier - Warren Allen Bowling (South African War, 1899-1902) - per the Auckland War Memorial Museum (record C122670). That archive link has been removed. His army number is MC#7354503 (Royal Army Medical Corps).
