What this roll records

Data note (2026): this record consolidates two earlier roll entries — “2nd Lt F.A. Andrew, Y Patrol” (the LRDG Preservation Society’s Troopers roll) and “Lt F.A. Andrews” (IWM / LRDG Association Nominal Roll, July 1945) — now treated as the same officer: same initials, a 2nd Lieutenant-to-Lieutenant rank progression, and an Andrew/Andrews spelling variant. The two entries were merged in August 2026.

Also recorded as “2nd Lt F.A. Andrew, Y Patrol.”
