Enlisted for WWII under the name Anthony Connelly; his registered full name was Milton Tadmore Maitland Connelly. Recorded on the roll as Tpr M.T.N. Connelly, M.I.D., NZ Divisional Cavalry Regiment. Brother of Mrs Chipchase of Ruatoria. Died August 1956, aged 54; buried at Ruatoria Cemetery (a headstone also exists at Auckland Cemetery).
