Full name William Isaiah. Born 7 April 1918 at Dublin, Ireland. Aged 76 at death. Buried/commemorated: Onetangi Cemetery, Waiheke Island (Block 7, Lot 183). Storeman in civilian life. Embarked/served with 27 (Machine Gun) Battalion. Known as Bill. All three Gilmore brothers served (Bob and Les in 21st Battalion).
