London Gazette, 24 November 1942, Supplement 35799, page 5142, under “The Military Cross.”: “Captain (temporary Major) Vladimir Peniakoff, Libyan Arab Force.” Officers of the Libyan Arab Force are printed without service numbers, so the identification rests on the name alone — which for this name is enough.
