From the collection: a NZ Divisional Cavalry Regiment invitation card to "Tpr R.A. Simpson" for an all-ranks dance at the Kiwi Club, Helwan, 13 April 1943 — indicating his parent unit was the NZ Divisional Cavalry Regiment. (His NZ service number and Div Cav origin suggest an NZ patrol; the roll's "S" patrol is inferred — flagged, not changed.)
