HE DIED ON 29 JANUARY 1983 AND IS BURIED IN FOXTON CEMETERY, Horowhenua — RSA block, plot 77. The birth year, the death and the grave come from a researcher’s contribution to the Museum of 10 January 2026, citing the Find a Grave website and the Horowhenua District Council cemetery search. The digits are unchanged. This roll formerly left the number unmarked, which made it look like a British number to anyone reading the field rather than the card.
